Saves Nine Patterns Crochet

Welcome to my the Saves Nine Patterns crochet resources site! I started this site to share all the tips and tricks I have picked up while crocheting, as well as share some of my favorite patterns and inspiration sources with you all.

I live in Texas with my husband, our daughter and our three rescue dogs. I crocheted when I was a child but had not really focused on it until I was given an amiguri kit a few years ago for making Star Wars dolls. I made some for my daughter and nephew and niece and I haven’t stopped crocheting since!

I had some ideas for what I wanted to make and searched the internet for a site that could convert an image into a row by row pattern and was shocked that there only seemed to be grid based options. So I built myself a program using python that can convert images to both grids and row by row patterns for single crochet (SC) and also corner to corner (C2C) crochet.

That program is what created most of the patterns you can find on my Etsy store https://savesninepatterns.etsy.com.
I am hoping at some point to convert it to an online tool so others can use it!

However, the main reason I have started this site with the intention to create articles for all the things I have searched the internet for during my crochet research. I hope y’all find it useful!
